Q&A
A: There’s no official age limit, but I think it's best suited for teens and adults. Younger kids might not find the stories as engaging. That said, you could definitely bring younger kids along if they're up for a bit of walking! Just keep an eye on them since the streets can get busy.
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes because you'll be walking around the Lower East Side for a while. The tour is self-guided, so you can take as long as you want. I recommend dressing in layers since NYC can be unpredictable with the weather!
A: Parking can be a challenge in the Lower East Side, especially on weekends. I recommend checking for garages nearby or using public transport if possible. There are some street spots, but they fill up fast. Just be prepared to walk a bit if you park further away.

Just did the Tenement Tales tour, and wow!
I finally tried the Tenement Tales audio tour last weekend, and it was such a cool experience! I loved how it took me through the history of the Lower East Side, plus the stories were really engaging. I started at Straus Square and wandered around for about 3 hours, just soaking it all in. Definitely felt like I was walking through history! If anyone’s thinking of gifting this, I say go for it!
Thinking of gifting the Tenement Tales tour for my friend’s bday.
I came across the Tenement Tales audio tour and it looks really interesting. My friend loves history, especially about NYC. I'm wondering if it’s worth it, or if anyone has tried it? What’s the vibe like? She’s not super active, so I'd like to know if it's a lot of walking or if I can take it slow with her.
