Q&A

Q: Is there any age limit for kids at Texas Discovery Gardens?

A: No age limit! Texas Discovery Gardens is designed for all ages. Kids love the butterfly house and the outdoor gardens. It’s a great place for families and there are plenty of accessible paths for strollers.

Q: Can I bring my dog to Texas Discovery Gardens?

A: Unfortunately, pets aren’t allowed in the gardens, except for service animals. It’s a bummer, but the gardens are really focused on preserving the plants and wildlife there. You can still have a great time without your furry friend!

Q: What should we wear for Texas Discovery Gardens? Is it mostly outdoor?

A: Definitely dress for the outdoors! Wear comfy shoes since there’s a lot of walking. If you're going in summer, light clothing and sunscreen are a must. Also, check the weather because some areas can get slippery if it rains.

Thinking of gifting a day at Texas Discovery Gardens, what do you think?

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting my parents a day at Texas Discovery Gardens in Dallas. They love nature and I think the butterfly house will be a highlight. I heard it’s a great spot for all ages, and the gardens are beautiful. Is there anything I should know before purchasing? Like, how long do people usually spend there?

Visited Texas Discovery Gardens last weekend, had a blast!

Just got back from Texas Discovery Gardens and wow, it was such a nice experience! The indoor butterfly house was super cool, and I loved the variety of plants outside, too. It’s totally ADA accessible, which is awesome. I went with my partner and we spent about 2.5 hours wandering around. Definitely considering giving this as a gift to my sister’s family!
