Q&A
A: Yes, kids under 6 need to wear life jackets while the boat is in motion, and you'll need to bring those yourself since they’re not provided. So, make sure you have a properly fitted life jacket for each little one. As long as you’ve got that covered, it’ll be a fun day for them!
A: I’d suggest wearing swimwear and bringing a cover-up for when you're relaxing on the upper deck! You’ll definitely want flip-flops or water shoes for the snorkeling and paddle boarding. Also, don't forget sunscreen and a hat!
A: The policy is pretty straightforward; they’ll usually let you know if the weather is too bad to go out, and you can reschedule without penalties. It’s best to call them a day before to check in. Your adventure doesn't have to flop!

Just got back from the Back Porch Pontoon experience—What a blast!
We had the most amazing day at Crab Island on the Back Porch Pontoon! The games were so much fun, especially ax throwing and volleyball. Snorkeling was a highlight—the water was crystal clear. We brought our own snacks and drinks, and the ice chest was super handy. Totally recommend it if you’re looking for a great group outing or gift! The best part? The upper deck was perfect for sunbathing.
Looking to gift the Back Porch Pontoon—any tips?
I'm planning to surprise my brother and his family with this pontoon rental for their trip to Destin next month. Would love to know what to expect! Is it kid-friendly? I’ve heard of all the fun on the water, but they have little ones.
