Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is it mostly walking?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since there will be some walking, especially in the Bloedel Reserve. Layers are a good idea since it can get a bit cool by the water, but it usually warms up later in the day. I wore sneakers and a light jacket and was pretty comfortable throughout the day!

Q: Are there age limits for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are totally welcome on this tour! It’s a great family-friendly experience, especially the wildlife watching at Fay Bainbridge State Park. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a little more supervision during the walking parts.

Q: How does the cancellation policy work in case of bad weather?

A: If the weather looks really bad, they will contact you to reschedule. I recommend checking the forecast a few days ahead of time. They’re pretty flexible and want to make sure you have the best experience possible!
