Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participants in the Chucktown Crusade Scavenger Hunt?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for ages 10 and up, as some of the clues can be tricky. Younger kids might need some guidance from adults to keep up with the challenges. Teams can be mixed-age, so it's great for family fun!

Q: What do I wear for the Chucktown Crusade? Is it mostly walking?

A: I'd suggest wearing comfy shoes since you will be doing a decent amount of walking! Charleston can get a bit warm, so light clothing is best. If it’s sunny, don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a hat. Just make sure to dress for comfort!

Q: If it rains, will the scavenger hunt be canceled or rescheduled?

A: They usually will reschedule if there’s heavy rain, but light rain shouldn't be a problem. Just check the day before and they will communicate with you about any changes. I did it on a cloudy day, and it was still a blast!

Thinking of getting the Chucktown Crusade Scavenger Hunt as a gift for a friend's birthday!

Has anyone done it? I love the idea of a scavenger hunt that also doubles as a city tour. I heard it’s interactive with a live guide, which sounds fun. Is it worth the price? What was your favorite part?

Just finished the Chucktown Crusade - what an experience!

I did the scavenger hunt with some friends last weekend in Charleston and it was a total blast! We discovered some cool spots we’d never seen before. The live guide was super helpful and made it even more engaging. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a unique way to explore the city.
