Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the escape room at The Escape Game San Diego?

A: Great question! The Escape Game San Diego is family-friendly, so kids are welcome to join. However, kids under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. It's a fun experience for all ages, so no worries there!

A: Yes, you can reschedule your booking! Just make sure to do it at least 24 hours in advance. They are really accommodating, so you should be fine as long as you give them a heads up.

Q: What should we wear for the escape room? Is it physically demanding?

A: Casual and comfy is the way to go! The escape rooms don’t require anything physical, so you won’t need special gear. Just wear something you can move around in easily. And make sure to check the room temperature; it can get a bit warm.

Just did the Timeliner escape room in Gaslamp Quarter — so much fun!

I just got back from doing the Timeliner: Train Through Time room with my friends, and wow, it was awesome! The puzzles were clever, and I loved how immersive it felt. We teamed up and barely made it out in time, which added to the thrill. Plus, we grabbed tacos at Tacos El Carbon afterward, which was the perfect way to celebrate our victory! Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves challenges.

Considering The Escape Game as a gift — any tips?

I’m looking to get some gift experiences for my brother’s birthday, and The Escape Game in San Diego caught my eye. He loves puzzles and games! Is the Prison Break room really that challenging? Just want to make sure it’s a fun experience and not too frustrating. Also, what’s the best time to book?
