Q&A
A: Yes, The Escape Game is generally family-friendly, but they recommend players be at least 13 years old for most of the rooms, especially the more intense themes like Prison Break. However, younger kids can join if they’re accompanied by an adult. Just check with the staff if you have any specific age concerns!
A: Parking around Kearny St. can be tricky since it's downtown, but there are a bunch of garages within walking distance. The Crocker Galleria itself has parking options. Just be prepared for higher rates, usually around $10-20 for a few hours. I recommend arriving a little early to find a spot easily!
A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling! Just make sure to contact them at least 24 hours in advance. They’ll help you find a new time that works. I did that when my friend got sick last minute, and the staff was super accommodating!

Just did the Prison Break escape room, and it was AMAZING!
I went to The Escape Game San Francisco last week with a group of friends, and we tried the Prison Break experience. It was intense but so much fun! The puzzles were challenging, but we managed to escape with just a few minutes left. Totally recommend grabbing dinner at Julie's Kitchen afterward; the atmosphere was perfect for discussing our game. Can't wait to go back and try another theme!
Considering gifting this experience to my partner, any thoughts?
I’m thinking of getting the escape room experience at The Escape Game for my partner’s birthday. We both love puzzles, but I’m worried about the difficulty level. I’ve heard the Playground room is more relaxed. Should I go for that, or dive into something more challenging? Any advice would be appreciated!
