Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 13 to really enjoy the puzzles without adult supervision. If you have younger kids, just check if the specific room is appropriate, as some are a bit more intense. We brought our 12-year-old and they had a blast!
A: The Timeliner room is a great mix of fun and challenge! It’s designed to be accessible for beginners but still engaging for experienced players. We had a mix in our group, and everyone enjoyed it! Just communicate well, and you’ll have a great time.
A: Comfort is key! Wear something you can move around in since you might be bending or crawling a little. No need to bring anything other than your group and maybe some snacks if you plan to hang out afterward. It gets a bit warm inside, so dress lightly!

Just did the Timeliner room at The Escape Game SF! What a blast!
I just finished the Timeliner escape room at The Escape Game in Fisherman's Wharf and wow, it was awesome! The puzzles were clever, and we escaped with just a few minutes to spare. Totally recommend hitting up Ghirardelli for a sundae afterward, just to celebrate! Anyone else tried it? What did you think?
Looking for a fun group gift idea - is The Escape Game worth it?
I'm thinking about gifting an experience at The Escape Game for a friend's birthday. They love puzzles and group activities. I've heard mixed reviews about escape rooms being too intense or scary, though. What's the vibe like here? Is it more fun than fright?
