Q&A
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate! Just give the Key West Food Tours a call or email, and they'll help you find another date that works. They know how unpredictable the weather can be in Key West, so they’re pretty flexible about it.
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking quite a bit around Old Town. It’s a fun 4-hour tour, so dress for the heat—light clothing is best. And don't forget sunscreen! The guide usually stops at shaded areas during breaks, but you’ll still want to stay protected.
A: The Hemingway Experience is generally for adults, but older kids (13+) can enjoy it too! Just keep in mind that the experience includes alcoholic beverages, so it might not be suited for younger children. If you’re considering it as a family outing, check with the provider first to see about any specific age requirements.

Just did the Hemingway Experience - It was amazing!
Hey everyone! I just got back from the Hemingway Experience in Key West, and it blew my mind! The guided tour took us through his home, and our guide shared the coolest stories about Hemingway's life. The Cuban food was delicious, especially the rum punch! I honestly didn’t expect to walk so much but it was totally worth it. Plus, we got to see a cigar rolling factory which was super interesting. Anyone else done this?
Considering gifting the Hemingway Experience - worth it?
So I’m thinking of gifting the Hemingway Experience to my dad for his birthday. He loves Hemingway and Key West! But I’m worried about him being able to keep up with the walking part. Is it really that much walking, or are there breaks? Any tips would be appreciated!
