Q&A

Q: Is there a recommended age for kids to do this walking tour?

A: I took my 10-year-old on the tour, and he loved it! I’d say it's best for kids aged 8 and up, as long as they can walk a bit and enjoy history. Just make sure they’re into stories about the Kennedys, or they might lose interest.

Q: What should I wear for this walking tour?

A: Keep it casual! I’d recommend comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot on those brick sidewalks, and dress for the weather since it’s mostly outdoors. A hat and sunscreen are good for sunny days!

Q: Can we reschedule the tour if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! You can easily reschedule the tour through the VoiceMap app if the weather looks unfavorable. Just make sure to do it before your scheduled time so you can pick a new date. It’s super flexible!

Thinking of gifting The Kennedy Homes tour to my parents, thoughts?

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Kennedy Homes audio tour for my parents as a gift. They love history and the Kennedys, so I think it’d be a hit. Just wanted to know if anyone's done it and if it’s worth it? I heard the stops like Martin’s Tavern are pretty cool!

Just finished the Kennedy Homes tour and it was amazing!

Just got back from the Kennedy Homes walking tour and wow, it was so informative! The audio guide made it feel like I was walking with a friend. Stopping at Holy Trinity Church was really special. I walked for about 90 minutes, and it was a great workout too. Highly recommend if you’re in DC!
