Q&A

Q: What's the best time to go for the Golden Eagle tour? Is it worth the full day?

A: The Golden Eagle tour is best in the spring and early summer when animals are more active. You’ll get to see a ton of wildlife, from elk to bears. It’s definitely worth the full day if you're passionate about nature, as the guides are super knowledgeable and take you to the best spots in the park.

Q: Can kids join the Night Owl tour, and what should they wear for that?

A: Absolutely, kids are welcome on the Night Owl tour! Just make sure they dress in layers since it can get really chilly at that altitude. Bring a warm jacket and maybe a blanket to cuddle up with during stargazing. It’s an unforgettable experience for the whole family!

Q: Is parking okay at Estes Park for these tours? Any tips?

A: Yeah, parking in Estes Park is generally good, but it can get crowded during peak seasons. It's best to arrive early to find a spot close to the meeting area. If you're worried, Chadd’s offers private transportation, so you shouldn’t have to stress about parking at all.

Thinking about getting the Golden Eagle tour for my boyfriend's birthday!

He’s a huge wildlife fan and I think it would be an awesome gift. The full day sounds like it’d be packed with so much to see! I wonder if they really deliver on spotting animals. Is it worth the price? Any tips for making it special?

Just did the Night Owl tour - wow!

I went last weekend and it was beyond amazing. The sunset from 12,000 feet was breathtaking, and the starry sky was a sight I’ll never forget. If you’re considering it, just do it! What a unique way to experience the park. Can't wait to share some pics!
