Let our experienced local guides bring the wonders of Rocky Mountain National Park to life with engaging stories and expert insights from start to finish. Your journey begins in historic downtown Estes Park, at an elevation of 7,500 feet, and winds through lush meadows, shimmering rivers, aspen groves, and alpine lakes. In summer and fall, we venture into the alpine tundra above 12,000 feet, traveling the historic Old Fall River Road (accessible after July 4) and the scenic heights of Trail Ridge Road (weather permitting). There will be multiple stops along the way up to the Alpine Visitor Center and stops along the way back down. If conditions prevent access to certain areas, don’t worry—we’ll explore equally stunning parts of the park to ensure an incredible experience. Ride in comfort in our iconic Green Jeeps, which seat up to 10 guests. For larger groups, we’ll divide you across multiple vehicles to keep the adventure personal and connected.

Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Rocky Mountain National Park Safari Tour?

A: I'd recommend dressing in layers! The weather can change pretty quickly, especially at higher elevations. A good base layer, a warm jacket, and sturdy shoes are key. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen too—you're gonna be at some serious altitude!

Q: Is there an age limit for the safari tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are totally welcome on the tour! There’s no strict age limit, but keep in mind the ride can be bumpy in some areas. It’s a great educational experience, so kids usually have a blast. Just make sure they’re up for a few hours in the Jeep!

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! They’re really accommodating about rescheduling in case of bad weather. Just make sure to call them ahead of time. They’ll work with you to find another date that fits. Safety is a priority, so they won’t take the Jeep out if conditions are sketchy.

Thinking about gifting the Rocky Mountain National Park Safari Tour!

Hey everyone! I'm considering giving my parents the Rocky Mountain National Park Safari Tour for their anniversary. They love nature and have been wanting to explore more of Colorado. I heard the views from Trail Ridge Road are spectacular. Has anyone done this tour? What did you think?

Question about the Rocky Mountain Safari Tour details!

I’m considering booking the safari tour soon. I’ve heard it’s a blast, but I'm curious about the group size. Are the Jeeps really comfortable with 10 people? How's the ride? Trying to decide if this would be good for a family outing.
