Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this bike tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join the tour! The tour is suitable for ages 12 and up, but younger kids can participate if they’re accompanied by an adult. Just make sure they’re comfortable riding a bike for the duration of the tour. It’s super fun for families!

Q: What should we wear for the bike tour? Any recommendations?

A: Definitely wear comfortable clothing suitable for biking! Athletic shorts or breathable leggings work great. Don’t forget closed-toe shoes and maybe a light jacket if it’s breezy near the coast. Sunglasses and sunscreen are must-haves too!

Q: How's the parking situation around La Jolla for the bike tour?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky in La Jolla, especially on weekends! There are some public lots and street parking, but they fill up fast. I’d recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to find a spot. Alternatively, consider using rideshare if you can!

Thinking of gifting the Summit To The Sea Bike Tour!

I'm considering this bike tour from Mt. Soledad to Windansea Beach as a gift for my partner’s birthday. It sounds amazing, especially with the sea lions at La Jolla Cove! I love that they provide snacks and water too. Anyone here done this tour? What was it like?

Just did the Summit To The Sea Bike Tour!

I just got back from this bike tour and wow, it was incredible! The ride from Mt. Soledad to the beach was gorgeous, and we even saw some sea lions along the way. The guide was really friendly and shared cool stories. They really take care of you with snacks and water too. Highly recommend for a fun day out!
