Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the boat tour?

A: There's no strict weight limit, but the boat does have a maximum capacity for safety reasons. As long as you fit comfortably and can enjoy the tour, you should be good! Just make sure to check with Clayton Island Tours if you have specific concerns.

Q: What should I wear for the boat tour, especially if it's chilly?

A: Dressing in layers is the best way to go! The boat can get windy, so a light jacket is a good idea, even in summer. Also, don’t forget comfortable shoes since you'll be walking around at Boldt Castle and the lighthouse!

Q: Are kids allowed on this tour? What's the age limit?

A: Absolutely! Kids of all ages can join, and it's a great family outing. Just make sure to keep an eye on them at the lighthouse and during the cruise. It’s super kid-friendly!

Just got back from the Ultimate Heart of 1000 Islands Tour!

Wow, what an experience! The sights of the Thousand Islands are amazing from the water. The Boldt Castle is even more impressive in person. We had a picnic lunch that was surprisingly good! The visit to the Rock Island Lighthouse was the highlight for me. I climbed to the top and the view was breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a unique gift idea!

Considering the Heart of 1000 Islands tour as a gift for my parents.

Looking for some advice! They love history and nice views, so I think this could be perfect. But I’m worried about the duration – how long is the tour? And is it easy for them to walk around on the islands?
