Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the bikes on the tour?

A: There isn't a specific weight limit, but the bikes are generally suited for riders up to around 250 lbs. Just make sure to let the tour guides know if you have any concerns—they're super helpful and can assist in finding a comfortable bike for you!

Q: What's the best time of year to go on this food tour? I’m worried about the weather.

A: Late spring to early fall is ideal since you’ll get the best weather for biking. Buffalo can get chilly, especially in winter, so you'll want to avoid those months if possible. The tour runs rain or shine, but they do have the right to cancel if the weather is really bad.

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the tour? I'm thinking of bringing my kids.

A: Kids are totally welcome on the tour! There’s no strict age limit, but it’s best for kids who can ride a bike comfortably for about 9-10 miles. They do recommend kids be at least 8 or older because of the distance and the nature of the tour.

Just finished The Wing Ride tour—what a blast!

I just did The Wing Ride in Buffalo last weekend, and it was such a fun experience! We started by meeting Lina Brown Young and hearing about her dad's legendary wing recipe. Then we hit up the Anchor Bar and had their famous wings—totally lived up to the hype. Riding through the city on a bike while tasting wings was just the coolest way to learn about this iconic dish. Definitely recommend it as a gift for any wing lover!

Thinking of gifting The Wing Ride—any insights?

I'm considering buying The Wing Ride food tour for my boyfriend's birthday. He’s a huge wing fan! Has anyone done it? What’s the vibe like? Also, do you think it’s worth the price (which I hear is pretty reasonable)?
