Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for kids on the kayak tour?

A: Yes, they do recommend kids be at least 6 years old for this tour. It might be a good idea to call ahead if you have really young kids just to confirm they’ll be comfortable in a kayak. The guides are super friendly and will help everyone out, but younger kids might need a bit more supervision.

Q: What's the best time of year to go for the kayak tour?

A: Late spring and early fall are the best times! The weather's usually pretty mild, and the manatees and dolphins are often more active. Summer can be super hot and crowded, plus there’s the chance of storms. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Q: What should we wear for kayaking? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet! Quick-dry clothing is a plus, and don’t forget a hat and sunglasses. Also, sandals are great unless you can paddle better in water shoes. The life jackets are provided, but make sure you feel comfortable in them!

Just got back from the Thousand Island Mangrove Tunnel tour!

OMG, this kayak tour was amazing! We saw so many dolphins and even a few manatees chilling in the water. The mangroves looked so cool up close. Our guide from Cocoa Kayaking was super friendly and pointed out all sorts of birds we would’ve missed. Definitely wear sunscreen; it gets hot out there! I’m thinking about gifting this to my sister for her birthday!

Considering the kayak tour for a family outing!

Hey guys, I’m looking into this kayak tour for my family reunion in Cocoa Beach. It sounds fun, but I’m worried about logistics like parking and how long it lasts. Can anyone share how their experience was? My aunt's bringing her kids, so I want to make sure it’s suitable for them too.
