Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Shelling Cruise?

A: There’s no specific age limit! Kids of all ages are welcome, which makes it a fantastic family activity. Just keep in mind that younger ones will need supervision while exploring on Shell Key. They’ll love shelling and spotting dolphins during the cruise!

Q: What should we wear for this cruise? Any recommendations?

A: Definitely wear comfy clothes and don’t forget your swimsuit if you want to jump in! Flip-flops or sandals are great since you're on the beach. A hat and sunglasses are also smart, plus some sunscreen for the cruise.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, you can absolutely reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating! Just call Hubbard’s Marina to make the arrangements. They’re pretty accommodating and want everyone to have a good time.

Thinking of gifting the Shelling Cruise, anyone been?

Hey guys! I’m considering getting the 3-hour Shelling Cruise for my parents’ anniversary. They love being outdoors and I think shelling at Shell Key would be amazing for them. Has anyone done this? What was the best part? I just want to make sure it’s worth it!

Shelling Cruise from John's Pass - what to expect?

I just got back from the Shelling Cruise and it was awesome! The cruise was smooth, and we saw dolphins playing alongside the boat. Shell Key is beautiful, but bring a bucket for your shells! It was a fun little adventure. Anyone else have tips for first-timers?
