Q&A
A: Kids as young as 5 can join on the tandem kayaks, but it’s best to check with Water's Edge Kayak Tours for specifics. They’re super accommodating, and they might even have special life jackets for smaller kids. Just keep in mind, if your child isn't a strong swimmer, you might want to stick to the snorkeling option.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a rash guard or light long-sleeve shirt for sun protection. Water shoes or sandals that won’t slip off are key too. It's also a good idea to bring a waterproof bag for your phone and snacks. Just in case it gets a bit cool after snorkeling!
A: If the weather looks sketchy, Water's Edge will reach out to reschedule your tour. They’re pretty flexible and want to ensure you have a great experience. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches. They also offer refunds if you can't find another time that works.

Just did the Three Sisters kayaking tour – here’s my experience!
I just got back from the Three Sisters Tandem Kayak and Snorkeling Tour in Crystal River, and wow, it was incredible! We saw so many manatees up close, and the guide was super knowledgeable about everything. The clear-bottom kayaks made it easy to see all the fish below. We also did some snorkeling, and I’ve never seen anything like it before! I highly recommend it for families or anyone who loves nature.
Considering gifting the kayak tour – any thoughts?
I’m thinking about gifting the Three Sisters kayak and snorkeling tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love being outdoors, especially near water. But I’m unsure about the level of difficulty. Are the kayaks stable enough for them, or should I consider something else?
