Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the Tijuana food tour?

A: There isn't a strict minimum age, but I'd recommend it for ages 12 and up. Kids younger than that might not appreciate the food or the experience as much, plus some stops might have spicy options. If you have younger kids, you might want to check if they can handle the walking and food tastes too!

Q: What should I wear for the walking tour? It's supposed to be warm!

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot! Dress in layers, too. Tijuana can get warm during the day but cool off in the evening. I'd say shorts and a breathable shirt are perfect, but maybe bring a light jacket just in case.

Q: How easy is it to cross the border? Any tips for first-timers?

A: Crossing is pretty straightforward! Just make sure you have your passport. The tour takes care of the transportation, which is great. My tip? Go early to avoid long lines and keep your ID handy. Total game changer!

Thinking about the Tijuana walking food tour - is it worth it?

I’m considering gifting the Tijuana Walking Street Food Tour to my partner who loves trying new foods. I've heard amazing things about Mercado Hidalgo and the food stops featured. But are the tastings really filling? I’m also curious how it compares to other food tours in the area. Any thoughts?

Just did the Tijuana food tour, and WOW!

I went on the Tijuana Walking Street Food Tour last weekend, and it was such an amazing experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable, and we hit up some awesome spots. Mercado Hidalgo was a highlight for sure! The tacos were to die for. We even got to take pics at the arch! Highly recommend it for any food lover.
