Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but I’d say it's best suited for kids aged 10 and up. The tour involves a lot of walking and some historical details that might go over younger kids' heads. If you have a child who can handle a 5-hour walk, they should be fine! Just keep in mind the pace.

Q: What should I wear for the walking part? Is it casual or dressy?

A: Dress comfortably! You’ll be walking a lot, so I recommend wearing good shoes—sneakers are perfect. The tour is casual, so no need to dress up, but check the weather beforehand; layers are a good idea since it can get chilly near the Top of the Rock.

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to contact the tour provider at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible about it, which is great if your plans change last minute.

Thinking of gifting this NYC walking tour! Anyone done it?

I’m considering this Top of the Rock and NYC walking tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves history and New York City! I’ve heard great things about the local guides. Is it worth it? Any highlights I should know about? Also, how early should we book?

Just got back from the Top of the Rock tour! Wow!

I just finished the Top of the Rock and NYC walking tour and I can't stop raving about it! We started at Wall St. and the guide had so many fun stories, especially about the Charging Bull and Fearless Girl. Seeing Times Square and Grand Central was a highlight. And the view from the Top of the Rock was breathtaking! Totally worth my Saturday!
