Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Freedom Trail tour?

A: Kids are definitely welcome on the tour! I took my 10-year-old nephew, and he loved it. Just keep in mind that the pace can be a bit fast sometimes, and some historical details might not hold their interest. But overall, it's a great way to get them interested in history!

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is it mostly outside?

A: Definitely dress comfortably! The tour goes outside and there’s quite a bit of walking involved. I wore sneakers and layered up since it can get chilly in the morning, but you might want to check the weather. Bring a light jacket just in case!

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if plans change?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to give them a heads up at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible about it, which is nice if something comes up. I had to change my date once, and it was super easy.

Thinking about gifting the Freedom Trail tour for my history-loving friend!

Hey everyone! I’m contemplating getting the Freedom Trail tour as a gift for my buddy who's obsessed with American history. I saw that it starts at Faneuil Hall and ends at Boston Common, which sounds awesome. Plus, they mention period-accurate guides? That’s just too cool! Anyone done this tour? Is it engaging enough for someone who knows a lot about history?

Anyone else find the Freedom Trail tour super immersive?

Just got back from the Freedom Trail tour, and wow! Stopping at so many historic sites was mind-blowing. The guide’s costume really added to the experience. Totally recommend it for anyone visiting Boston or looking for a unique gift idea! Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes—you’ll need them!
