Q&A
A: Yes, kids can definitely join! There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for ages 5 and up, since they’ll be able to enjoy the sights better. Just keep in mind that younger kids might get tired from all the walking. Also, the guide is super engaging, so they’ll likely have a great time learning about the history!
A: They generally don't cancel for rain, but they will adjust the itinerary if needed. Most of the sites like the Air Museum have indoor options, so you’ll still get to see a lot. Just be sure to check the forecast and maybe bring a poncho or umbrella!
A: The tour itself lasts a good 5-6 hours in Washington, so you cover a lot of ground! You get to visit the major sites like the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington Cemetery. It feels a bit rushed, but the guide does a great job of giving you the highlights. Bring comfy shoes because there’s a fair amount of walking involved.

Thinking about booking the Washington tour from NYC! Any tips?
Hey, I’m considering this Washington tour by Arcol Travel as a gift for my mom's birthday. She loves history and I think she’d really enjoy seeing the Capitol and Lincoln Memorial. Just worried about the long day trip and if it might be too tiring for her. Has anyone done this? What should I keep in mind?
Just did the Washington day tour! Here’s my review!
Wow, I just got back from the day tour to D.C. and I have to say, it was amazing! The guide was so knowledgeable and we saw everything from the White House to Arlington Cemetery. The drive was comfy with WiFi, which was a plus! A must-do for any history buffs in NYC. Just be ready for some walking!
