A: If the weather is seriously bad, the tour operator typically offers rescheduling options. You can also check their cancellation policy. Just make sure to read the FAQs on their site or call them directly for the most accurate info! I had to reschedule my trip due to a storm and they were super accommodating.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids? My nephew is only 5 and I want to take him.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but they do recommend kids be at least 6 years old for safety reasons. However, if your nephew is adventurous, you could check with the provider as they might be able to accommodate him if you’re okay being extra cautious.

Q: What should we wear? Is it cold out there near the glaciers?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can be chilly, especially when the boat gets close to the glaciers. Bring a waterproof jacket and some warm gloves. I wore a beanie and was glad I did. Also, don’t forget comfy shoes; you might be moving around a lot!

What an amazing adventure it was!

Just got back from the Tracy Arm Fjord tour and wow, it was incredible! The glaciers were breathtaking, and the snacks were a delightful bonus. We saw some seals and even a few eagles! Highly recommend for anyone considering it as a gift. Just dress warm, and you’ll be fine.
