Q&A
A: Yes, kids can definitely join the Trails and Ale Tour! The tour is family-friendly, and children can use their wooden nickels for non-alcoholic drinks at Timberline. Just keep in mind that the terrain can be a bit rugged, so make sure they’re dressed appropriately for a hike.
A: Layering is key! The weather in Juneau can change quickly, so wear a moisture-wicking base layer, a warm mid-layer, and a waterproof jacket. Also, sturdy shoes are a must since the trails can be uneven. You’ll want to be comfortable while enjoying the views!
A: You can reschedule the Trails and Ale Tour if you need to! Just make sure to contact the provider at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, but last-minute cancellations might incur a fee. Always good to check their policy when you book!

Excited for the Trails and Ale Tour! Anyone done it?
I'm planning to gift my boyfriend the Trails and Ale Tour in Juneau for his birthday! He loves hiking and craft beer, so I think this is perfect. I read that you get to see some cool wildlife and the views are amazing from Mt. Roberts. Just curious, how hard are the trails? Is it suitable for someone who's not super fit?
Just did the Trails and Ale Tour - it was amazing!
I just got back from the Trails and Ale Tour, and wow! The view from the observation deck was stunning. The guide was super knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. And the wooden nickel for a drink was a nice touch! I had a local IPA at Tr’Ale House. Highly recommend it!
