Q&A
A: No, there isn’t a strict age limit for the trolley tour! Kids can definitely join, and it's a great educational experience for them. Just be sure they're old enough to enjoy the tour and sit still for about 40 minutes. They might find the tea bushes fascinating, especially if you tell them about how tea is made!
A: Definitely wear something comfortable since the trolley does have some bumps along the way. It’s mostly outdoors, so I'd recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat if it’s sunny. Closed-toe shoes are a good idea too, especially if you plan to check out the greenhouse!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to contact the Charleston Tea Garden's customer service ahead of time. They’re pretty accommodating, but it’s best to give them as much notice as possible. I've had to change my plans, and they were really understanding.

Thinking of gifting the trolley tour on Wadmalaw Island!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the trolley tour at the Charleston Tea Garden for my parents’ anniversary. They love learning about tea and gardening. I heard the tour includes a stop at the greenhouse, which sounds really cool! But I’m wondering if it’s worth it for someone who's not super into tea. The ticket is $0, which is a steal! Any thoughts?
Just went on the Wadmalaw Island trolley tour!
Just got back from the trolley tour at the Charleston Tea Garden, and wow, it was amazing! The trip was about 40 minutes, and I learned so much about tea plants. The greenhouse stop was definitely a highlight. We even saw baby tea bushes! Highly recommend it if you're in Charleston.
