Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the tour, and kids are absolutely welcome! Rebecca is great with younger audiences and encourages questions, which makes it fun for everyone. Just keep in mind that some parts of the trail can be a bit uneven, so it might be better for older kids who can handle a bit of walking.
A: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes, because it can get muddy depending on the season. I recommend bringing a light jacket too, as the trails can get a bit chilly in the shade. Also, don’t forget sunscreen or a hat! You’ll be outdoors for a while.
A: Scheduling is pretty straightforward! You can book directly through the provider’s website, and they’re pretty flexible about rescheduling if something comes up. Just try to give them a heads-up as soon as you can. It’s nice to know they accommodate changes without too much hassle.

Just did the Tryon Creek Eco-tour and it was amazing!
I just got back from the Tryon Creek Eco-tour with Rebecca, and wow, it was worth every minute! She’s super knowledgeable and makes everything come alive. We saw all sorts of plants and even got to identify some mushrooms. It’s in Portland and the trails are beautiful! I totally recommend it for anyone looking to gift something unique. Can’t wait to go again myself!
Thinking about the Tryon Creek Eco-tour for my dad's birthday!
My dad loves nature and I found this eco-tour with a Master Naturalist! It's in Portland and the guide, Rebecca, seems awesome. I’m a bit nervous though; is it really suitable for all ages? He’s in his late 60s but still pretty active. Anyone have thoughts?
