Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for Turandot at The Met, but I’d say it’s best suited for older kids due to its themes and length (it can run over 3 hours!). You might want to check with your daughter first to see if she's up for it. Also, it could be helpful to explain the story beforehand since it’s a bit complex.
A: The Met can be pretty formal, but you don’t have to go full tux or ball gown! Business casual works great—think nice dress or slacks and a button-up. Just keep in mind it can get chilly with the AC, so maybe bring a light jacket. Plus, you'll feel more in the spirit of the performance!
A: Tickets for Turandot usually have a no-refund policy, but you might be able to exchange them for a different date if you contact customer service as soon as possible. They can be pretty understanding, especially if there’s a serious reason. Just keep a close eye on the terms when you buy!

Just saw Turandot at The Met and I’m in awe!
Wow, I just got back from watching Turandot at The Metropolitan Opera House, and my mind is blown! The set design is absolutely stunning, and the performances by Angela Meade and Michael Fabiano were out of this world! I had no idea I’d get so emotional during the entire show. If you’re thinking of gifting tickets to someone, DO IT! Just be ready for the long runtime; it’s definitely an experience!
Considering Turandot tickets as a gift for my parents’ anniversary!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about gifting tickets to Turandot for my parents' 30th anniversary. They love opera and have never been to The Met! I’m a little worried about the seating arrangement though. Anyone know if the box seats are worth the extra cost? Would love to hear your thoughts!
