Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Turkish Mosaic Lamp Making Workshop?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but I'd say it's best for ages 10 and up. Younger kids may need more help from an adult. The instructors are super friendly and accommodating, so if you have younger kids, you could totally bring them along!

Q: What should I wear to the workshop? Messy hands are expected, right?

A: Yeah, definitely wear something you don’t mind getting a little messy! They provide aprons, but you might still get some glue or tile bits on you. Comfy shoes are a plus since you'll be on your feet. Enjoy the creativity!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up after I book the workshop?

A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling as long as you give them a heads-up, usually at least 48 hours in advance. Just reach out to the studio, and they’ll help you out. It’s nice they have that policy!

Thinking of gifting the Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop—any thoughts?

I found the Turkish Mosaic Lamp Making Workshop at Studio Flora's in San Jose while looking for something different to gift my sister. She loves arts and crafts and I think this could be the perfect way to spend a day! Has anyone tried it? How was the experience? What’s the vibe like? I’m super curious about the materials they provide too.

Just got back from the Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop!

I just finished the lamp-making workshop, and wow, what an experience! The space at Studio Flora's is super cozy, and I learned so much about the history of mosaic art. Choosing the colors and arranging the tiles was so relaxing! I can't wait to show off my lamp at home. Totally recommend this for a unique date night or just a fun day out with friends!
