Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 6 years old to participate safely. They’ll love the puppies and the whole experience! Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit of help with the commands and handling the sled. It’s a great family activity if your kids are adventurous!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly, especially if you’re out there for a while. A good winter jacket, gloves, and sturdy boots are a must. If you have thermal socks, wear those too. You’ll be glad you did when you meet the pups outside!
A: They’ll monitor weather conditions closely. If it’s too unsafe to go out, they'll reschedule you for another day. It’s a good idea to check their cancellation policy before booking, just in case. They do their best to ensure everyone gets the experience!

Just did the dogsledding experience - it was AMAZING!
I just got back from the Turning Heads Kennel Dogsledding Experience in Seward and wow, what a rush! The mushers were incredibly knowledgeable and the dogs were so well trained. I loved learning about the commands and seeing the pups in action. And cuddling those husky puppies at the end? Pure joy! Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Alaska!
Thinking of gifting the dogsledding experience for my brother's birthday
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the dogsledding experience for my brother's birthday. He loves animals and outdoor adventures. Has anyone done this? What’s the best time of year to go? Any tips would be appreciated!
