Q: What happens if the weather turns bad and we can't dive?

A: If the weather's not conducive for diving, Banyan Tree Divers will reschedule your dive to a later date. They contact you directly to find a good time that works for both parties. I had to reschedule once, and they were super accommodating! Just keep an eye on the forecast.

Q: Is there an age limit for this dive experience?

A: Yes, typically you need to be at least 12 years old to dive with a certified instructor. Make sure they have their certification card with them. I took my 14-year-old niece last year, and we had an absolute blast!

Q: What should I wear for the dive? Is wetsuit rental included?

A: Banyan Tree Divers includes all your SCUBA gear, which usually comes with a wetsuit! Just wear your swimsuit underneath — it’s comfy and you won't overheat. If you're sensitive to cold, you might want an extra layer, but the water's typically warm in Maui. Remember to bring a towel, too!

Just got back from Lahaina! Turtle & Shark Dive was epic!

I just did the Turtle & Shark scuba dive with Banyan Tree Divers last week, and wow! Swimming with those turtles was such a surreal experience. The visibility was perfect, and we saw at least 3 reef sharks. The dive instructors really made me feel safe the whole time! Definitely recommend it if you're on the fence.
