Q&A
A: Great question! There isn't a strict age limit for this tour, but they recommend that participants be at least 10 years old and able to ride a bike comfortably. Younger kids can join if they're riding with an adult, but keep in mind that it can be a two-hour ride. So, if you're thinking of gifting this to someone, make sure they’re up for the challenge!
A: If the weather's looking rough, like heavy rain or high winds, they usually cancel the tour for safety reasons. You'll be notified and offered a reschedule or a full refund if that's not possible. Definitely good to check the forecast closer to the day!
A: They do provide bikes as part of the tour, but it’s really important to be comfortable riding one for the whole two hours. If you're unsure, maybe try riding in a less busy area first to build your confidence. They also have helmets included, which is always nice for safety!

Thinking of gifting the Lighthouse Tour - any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Two Hour Lighthouse Bicycle Tour in South Portland to my sister who loves biking and the ocean. Has anyone done this? I’m curious about the route and if it’s suitable for someone who isn’t super experienced on a bike. Any advice would be great!
Just completed the Lighthouse Tour - so fun!
Just got back from the Lighthouse Bicycle Tour! I went this morning at 9 am. The views of the lighthouses were stunning, especially Bug Light! The ride along the Greenbelt Pathway was super nice too. It was pretty chill, so I think it's good for most skill levels. Highly recommend as a gift!
