Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Two Tank Morning Reef Dive and Snorkel?

A: You'll want to wear a swimsuit, obviously! A rash guard is great for sun protection, and don't forget a hat and sunscreen. Water shoes can be really helpful too, especially for getting in and out of the boat on rocky surfaces. And maybe bring a light jacket for the boat ride, it can get a bit chilly before you dive in.

Q: Is there an age limit for this diving experience?

A: Yes, there is usually an age limit, particularly for the diving part. Kids need to be at least 10 years old to participate in the dives. But they can snorkel any age! Just check with the provider in case they have specific policies. It’s a great family experience if you have older kids!

Q: What if the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of the dive?

A: If the weather is bad, they will typically reschedule your dive for another day. They’re pretty flexible about it. Just make sure to keep in touch with them a few days before your dive in case of any changes. They want everyone to have a good experience!

Has anyone done the Two Tank Morning Reef Dive and Snorkel in Kona?

I’m considering booking this experience as a gift for my dad’s birthday. He loves the ocean and hasn’t snorkeled in years! I read that you can see dolphins and turtles, which would be amazing. But I’m worried about him being out of shape for the dive part. Is it tough? Anyone have details?

Just did the Two Tank Morning Reef Dive and it was epic!

I went last week and it was amazing! The guides were so knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. We saw dolphins, which I’ve never experienced before! They even provided snacks and coffee, which was really nice after diving. The water is just beautiful. Highly recommend!
