Q&A
A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty. The trees can be sticky, so closed-toe shoes are a must to protect your feet. Also, if it's sunny, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen! It can get warm out there.
A: Yes! Kids are definitely welcome at Sunmist Farm. There’s really no age limit, but just keep an eye on them since it can get a bit crowded. They’ll have a blast picking their own fruit! Plus, it’s a great way to teach them where food comes from.
A: You don't need a reservation to pick tangerines or lemons at Sunmist! Just show up during their hours on the weekend. But, if you’re going with a larger group, it might be good to call ahead just to ensure they can accommodate everyone.

Just got back from picking tangerines and lemons at Sunmist!
Wow, what a fun experience! My family and I headed to Sunmist Tangerine Farm in Temecula this past weekend. It was our first time picking fruit together and we loved it. The tangerines were sweet and easy to pick, and the Meyer lemons were super juicy. We went around 11 AM and it was perfect! I wore some old sneakers and comfy clothes, which was definitely the way to go. Can’t wait to make some lemon meringue pie now!
Considering gifting U-Pick at Sunmist for my sister's birthday!
Hey folks! I’m thinking about buying the U-Pick experience for my sister who loves fruit. She’s always talking about going to a farm, but I’m not sure if it's a good fit. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? Also, what’s the best time to go? Any tips would be super appreciated!
