Q&A
A: There's no official age limit for the Capitol tour, but kids must be able to walk around for a couple of hours. It’s a great experience for young ones, especially since the guide makes it fun and engaging. Just be sure to check the weather and have some snacks on hand for breaks.
A: The tour generally runs rain or shine, but if the weather is really bad, they might reschedule. It's a good idea to check the forecast and bring an umbrella just in case. Wear comfy shoes since it involves a lot of walking, regardless of the weather!
A: Great question! The tour includes access to either the Library of Congress or the Capitol Museum based on the day of your tour. If you go on a Monday when the Library is closed, you'll visit the Capitol Museum instead. Both options have awesome exhibits, so you can't go wrong!

Just did the U.S. Capitol Tour and wow!
I went on the Capitol Tour last week with my family and it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us through the Rotunda and the old house chambers. We even passed by the Supreme Court. Really interesting to see all the historical details! Just a heads up, wear comfortable shoes because there's a lot of walking involved. Definitely a great gift idea for history buffs!
Thinking of gifting the Capitol Tour for my parents' anniversary!
Hey everyone! My parents are visiting D.C. soon, and I'm considering gifting them the Capitol Tour. They love history and exploring new places. Has anyone done this recently? What are your thoughts? Any tips or must-see spots to recommend during the tour?
