Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Uinta Mountains Birding Expedition?

A: There isn't an official age limit, but it's best for kids 8 and up. The trails can be steep at times, and younger kids might struggle a bit. Just make sure they’re up for some hiking! Also, check if you need to provide any gear for them.

Q: What should I wear for the birding expedition?

A: Dress in layers! The weather can change quickly in the Uinta Mountains. Wear comfortable hiking shoes, and don't forget a hat and sunscreen. Bring a light jacket just in case it gets chilly up there.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule if the weather isn't good for birding. They’ll reach out to you on the day if conditions aren't safe. Just be sure to check their cancellation policy when booking!

Thinking of gifting the Uinta Mountains Birding Expedition!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this birding trip as a gift for my partner's birthday. They love the outdoors but have never been birding before. Has anyone done this experience? What did you think? Any tips on what to bring or prepare for? It’s in Salt Lake City, right? Thanks!

Anyone else obsessed with the birding experience?

Just got back from the Uinta Mountains birding tour and wow, it was epic! We saw some incredible birds and the guide was super knowledgeable. I loved how the trip started around Salt Lake City and then we got to explore the beautiful mountain scenery. Totally worth it! Anyone else have fun birding stories?
