Q&A
A: Yes, they recommend kids be at least 6 years old to participate in the snorkeling portion for safety reasons. It's great for families, but you'll want to make sure your kids are comfortable in the water and can follow instructions. Also, keep in mind that the boat ride can be a bit bumpy, so make sure they're ready for that!
A: If the weather conditions aren't suitable for the trip, they will offer to reschedule or provide a full refund. Safety is their top priority, so they’ll keep an eye on forecasts. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy, but I've heard they’re pretty flexible!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a light cover-up! Water shoes are also a good idea since you might be stepping on rocks when getting in and out of the boat. Don't forget sunscreen and maybe a hat for sun protection. The snorkeling gear is provided, so just focus on being comfy!

Just booked the Ultimate Whale Watch & Snorkel for my wife’s birthday!
I’m super excited! I got us tickets for a morning trip in February since I know the whales will be around. Can’t wait to see them and snorkel at Lanai. I hope we get to see dolphins too! Just wanted to check if anyone has tips on what to bring or wear. Also, how long do we usually stay in the water? Thanks!
Has anyone done the whale watch before? What are the vibes like?
Thinking about gifting this experience to my parents. I’ve heard it’s small group sizes, which is nice! Just curious about how the atmosphere is? Is it super chill, or do they rush you? Also, are the guides friendly? Any feedback would be awesome!
