Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's best suited for kids 8 and up. The hike to Horseshoe Bend is short but can be steep in places. Younger kids might find it challenging. Just make sure they're comfortable with walking and the desert heat!
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes for walking and consider lightweight clothing. The canyon can get hot, but inside it can be cooler. I’d recommend layering up; you can always take off a jacket if it gets warm!
A: They typically run the tour rain or shine, but if weather conditions are severe, like flash floods, they’ll definitely cancel for safety. You can reschedule, which they help you with right away. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just did the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend tour!
OMG you guys, I just got back from the Under the Sky of the Great West tour and it was amazing! The drive from Vegas was super comfortable and our guide was really knowledgeable. Horseshoe Bend was jaw-dropping! The way the light hit the canyon was just perfect for photos. Antelope Canyon was surreal, especially with the Navajo guide showing us all the best spots. Totally recommend this to anyone thinking of a gift experience! We were back in Vegas around 9 pm and it felt like we really made the most of the day!
Thinking about gifting this tour for my parents’ anniversary!
Hey everyone! I’m looking at the Under the Sky of the Great West experience for my parents. They love nature and photography. Has anyone done this? I’m just curious about the driving part since they’re not huge fans of long drives. Also, any tips on how to make it special for them?
