These scooter jets are light weight, incredibly powerful and so much less cumbersome than the older versions. At last you can use a DPV to explore much more of a site than you could by swimming but still stop to check out any interesting finds along the way. Definitely a "best of both worlds" type of tour.

A: This underwater scooter dive is only for certified divers due to the nature of the activity and the need for scuba skills. If you’re not certified, I recommend getting your certification first! Once you're certified, this experience is super fun and a unique way to explore Maui’s underwater world without all the hard swimming.

Q: What should I wear for the underwater scooter dive?

A: You should wear your swimsuit and maybe a rash guard if you’re sensitive to the sun or cold water. The scuba gear will be provided by NeverDry, so no need to worry about that. Just make sure to bring a towel and some sunscreen for after the dive!

A: Yes! NeverDry is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather conditions. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you realize you need to change your plans. They understand how unpredictable Maui weather can be!
