Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for participating in the scavenger hunt?

A: There's no specific age limit, but I'd recommend it for ages 10 and up. Kids younger than that might struggle with the puzzles. Teams can be mixed-age, so if you have younger ones, they can still have fun as part of a group! Just keep an eye on them since it involves some walking around campus.

Q: What should we wear? Is this activity weather dependent?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking about 3 miles! Layer your clothes as it can get hot during the day but chillier in the evening. It's mostly outdoors, so check the weather before you go. If it rains, they might reschedule, but it’s best to confirm with the provider.

Q: How difficult are the puzzles? I’m not very good at riddles.

A: The puzzles are pretty varied! Some are super easy and others are a bit trickier. It’s designed for everyone, so don’t feel intimidated. Plus, you can always work in a team and bounce ideas off each other. Just keep an open mind and be ready to have fun!

Just did the Stanford Scavenger Hunt – what an adventure!

I just got back from the University of North Texas Scavenger Hunt and it was a blast! We had a group of 5 and tackled the puzzles together. I loved how we could go at our own pace, but we completed it in about 90 minutes. The iconic spots like Memorial Church and Hoover Tower were super cool, and the app made it all so interactive! Highly recommend for a fun day out or as a gift for friends!

Thinking of gifting the scavenger hunt, advice?

I want to get this scavenger hunt experience as a birthday gift for my sister. She loves puzzles and outdoor adventures! Is it good for someone who's a bit introverted? I don’t want her to feel overwhelmed with the group. Any tips?
