This is one of the most amazing drives of your vacation! ...I'm Kel Thompson, the owner/operator and your tour guide! Yes, I do all my own tours (and stunts!) I've guided over 10,000 guests for multiple companies in my career here in Alaska and now offer my own private tours in an amazing new Mercedes Sprinter! Before guiding I was a standup comedian and combine humor with a fervent love of Alaskan history. This all goes into your cruise transfer, which goes down the mountain lined Turnagain Arm and through the historic Anton Anderson tunnel! Along the way, we'll pull out for photo stops and a coffee time permitting! I am very flexible and want to make this part of your journey just as fun and memorable as the rest of your vacation! Q: Is there a weight limit for the van ride during the cruise transfer?

A: There isn't a strict weight limit, but the van can comfortably fit 10 people. Just keep in mind that it might get a little snug with a full group. Kel Thompson is super accommodating, so if you have special needs, just message him in advance!

Q: What should I wear for the cruise transfer? Is it cold?

A: Dress in layers! The drive goes by the water, so it can get chilly, even in summer. A light jacket should do, but maybe pack a warmer layer if you're sensitive to cold. Kel usually has bottled water, but definitely bring snacks if you're hungry!

A: Yes, Kel is really flexible with reschedules. Just reach out to him through the app as soon as you know you need to change your plans. He'll do his best to accommodate you, as long as there’s availability!
