Q&A
A: The best time to visit for that iconic light beam effect is from late March to early October, ideally around noon. The sun is high enough during these months to create those stunning shafts of light you see in photos. Just check the forecast and see if it’s clear on the day you're going, as clouds can block the beams!
A: There's no strict age limit for kids, but they should be able to walk and follow the guide. It's suitable for all ages, but keep in mind that some paths can be narrow and rocky. If they're really little, you might want to consider a baby carrier.
A: Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking on rocky terrain. Layer your clothing because it can get warm inside the canyon but cooler in the shade. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses for those bright beam spots, and definitely bring a camera!

Just got back from Upper Antelope Canyon—amazing experience!
I surprised my partner with tickets for Upper Antelope Canyon last week, and wow, it did not disappoint! The colors in the canyon were out of this world, especially around noon when the sun was streaming in. Our guide was super knowledgeable & made it fun. Just a heads up, parking was a bit hectic, so plan to get there early. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to capture some stunning photos!
Considering Upper Antelope Canyon as a gift—thoughts?
I’m thinking of getting tickets for my parents for their anniversary, but I’m a bit worried about the logistics. I heard parking can be a pain. Also, are the tours long enough to feel worth it? Has anyone done it recently? Any tips would be appreciated!
