Q&A
A: The best time to visit is during the summer months, especially June to September. That’s when the light beams are most spectacular! Just keep in mind that it can get pretty hot, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen. If you're going in winter, dress warmly since it can be quite chilly in the canyon.
A: There are no strict age restrictions! However, kids need to be able to walk the trails, so it’s best for kids over 5 or so. Just keep an eye on younger children as the paths can be a bit tricky in places. If you're bringing little ones, definitely consider a baby carrier instead of a stroller.
A: Wear comfortable walking shoes since the terrain can be uneven. Layers are key because it can be warm outside but cooler in the canyon. And don’t forget your sunscreen! Even if it’s chilly, you can still get sunburned. I’d recommend a hat too.

Thinking about gifting the Upper Antelope Canyon tour!
Hey everyone! I'm considering this tour for my sister's birthday. She loves hiking and nature. I read that it includes the admission fee and a Navajo Nation permit for $8 per person, which seems reasonable. I just want to make sure the paths are easy enough since she's not super experienced. Any tips or experiences from those who’ve gone?
Just did the Upper Antelope Canyon tour and it was unreal!
I went last weekend and wow, the colors in the canyon are just out of this world! The tour lasted about an hour but it flew by. We had a super knowledgeable guide who shared a lot about the history. I went with a few friends and we all loved it. Definitely worth it if you’re in Page, AZ!
