A: Unfortunately, the age minimum for this trip is 6 years old due to safety reasons. They want to ensure that everyone can handle the Class II rapids. But if your kids are 6 and above, they’ll have a blast! Just make sure they’re comfortable in water.

A: The best time to go is late June through early September. That's when the weather is warmest and the water levels are perfect for floating. Just check the forecast before you go, though, as storms can pop up in Colorado!

A: You should wear a swimsuit and quick-dry clothing. Definitely bring a change of clothes for after! The provider gives you wetsuits and splash jackets, but it’s nice to have your own stuff underneath. And don’t forget sandals or water shoes!

Upper Colorado Float Trip Experience

Just got back from the Upper Colorado full day float trip and wow, what a day! The water was perfect and the scenery was unreal. We had a blast splashing around and the guides were super helpful. Lunch was a great spread! Just a heads up, bring a dry bag for your phone. Can't wait to go again!
