Q&A
A: The Uptown Elegance tour is family-friendly, but it might be best for kids aged 10 and up who can appreciate the history. Younger kids might get restless with all the walking and listening. It's a great way to introduce them to New Orleans' culture, though, especially if they like pretty houses and stories about the city!
A: The Garden District tour is pretty casual, so comfortable walking shoes are a must! I'd recommend light clothing since you'll be outdoors for a while, especially in the summer. A hat and sunscreen are also good ideas since there's not always shade on the streets. Just keep it comfy!
A: If the weather looks bad, they usually communicate with you a day or two in advance about rescheduling. It doesn’t hurt to check in the morning before your tour. Just be prepared for a rain date if you're booking ahead. I’d recommend keeping your fingers crossed for good weather!

Thinking about gifting the Uptown Elegance Tour for my parents' anniversary!
I really want to give my parents a special experience for their anniversary, and the Uptown Elegance tour in the Garden District seems perfect! They love history and architecture, so I think they’d appreciate all the beautiful mansions and stories. Has anyone done this tour? Would love some feedback!
Just did the Uptown Elegance Tour and wow!
I went on the Uptown Elegance tour last weekend and it was such a delightful experience! The guide showed us the Buckner Mansion and explained its history. The oak trees were stunning, and I felt like I was in a movie! Highly recommend if you're in New Orleans. Just be ready to walk a bit!
