Q: What should I wear to the Urban Sketching Workshop? Is it outdoors?

A: You'll want to dress comfortably, especially since it's in NYC and we might be outside for part of it. I'd suggest wearing layers, just in case! You might also want to bring a hat or sunglasses depending on the weather. Kevin usually picks nice spots, so be ready for some great views!

Q: Is there an age limit for the Urban Sketching Workshop? I want to bring my 10-year-old.

A: It's totally family-friendly! Kids as young as 10 can join in, as long as they have an interest in drawing. Kevin is great with beginners of all ages, so your kid will have a blast. Just keep in mind that younger kids may need a bit more guidance.

Q: Can this workshop be rescheduled if something comes up?

A: Yeah, Kevin is pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just make sure to give him a heads-up at least 24 hours before your session. He wants everyone to have a good time and will work with you to find a new date that fits.

I’m considering this Urban Sketching Workshop in NYC as a gift for my friend who loves art but never draws. Kevin sounds awesome, and I love that it includes all the materials. I’m just worried if my friend would find it too hard or if they’d feel out of place as a beginner. Anyone have insights?

I recently attended Kevin's Urban Sketching Workshop and it was so much fun! We sketched around Central Park and he provided all the materials. I’m not an artist at all, but he made it super easy to follow along. It really helped me relax and see the city in a new way. Highly recommend for anyone!
