Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for this tour! However, keep in mind that younger kids might need to be closely supervised, especially on the Hurricane Deck. It's a bit wild and wet! Generally, kids ages 5 and up enjoy it the most, but if you're bringing little ones, just think about how they'd handle the spray.
A: It's best to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. This gives you time to check in, grab your tickets, and take a few photos before hitting the Maid of the Mist. Plus, the morning light is perfect for pics!
A: Wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting wet! They provide ponchos, but I'd recommend wearing quick-dry clothes and closed-toe shoes with good grip. The ground can get slippery, especially on the Hurricane Deck. Sunscreen is also a must if it’s sunny!

Just did the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds tour—what a rush!
I took the Splash & Dash tour last week, and wow, it was an incredible way to see Niagara Falls! We got to the Maid of the Mist and skipped the lines thanks to our express pass. The mist from Horseshoe Falls was so refreshing in the morning sun! Then we went down to the Cave of the Winds, and standing on the Hurricane Deck was thrilling. Bring a change of clothes if you don't wanna sit in wet gear afterward, but seriously, don't miss this experience!
Considering this tour as a gift—thoughts?
I'm thinking about gifting the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds tour to my parents for their anniversary. They’ve never been to Niagara Falls, and I think the express tour would be perfect for them! Anyone have opinions on how it’s structured? Should I include a meal as part of the gift, or is there enough in the tour?
