Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for the UTV or snowmobile rides?

A: Yes, there are age restrictions. Generally, riders need to be at least 16 years old for the UTV rides. Kids can join if they're accompanied by an adult, but they might not be able to drive themselves. Always best to check with Sierra Adventures for the latest rules before booking!

Q: What should I wear for the snowshoe part of the adventure?

A: You'll want to dress in layers! A good base layer, waterproof outer layers, and don't forget insulated gloves and a hat. It can get pretty chilly out there, especially with the wind on the UTVs. Wear sturdy, waterproof boots too; trust me on this!

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad on the day of our booking?

A: If the weather is really bad, Sierra Adventures will contact you to reschedule. They prioritize safety! As long as you give them enough notice, it’s usually pretty easy to find another time that works. Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast ahead of time.

Thinking about gifting the UTV & snowmobile adventure - anyone tried it?

I’m seriously considering this experience for my brother's birthday. He loves the outdoors and I think the UTV rides would be epic! I’ve read it includes hotel pickup from Reno and snacks, which is a nice touch. Just worried about the cold and if it’ll be too much for him. Any insights?

Help! Rescheduling Winter Adventures

I booked this UTV adventure for my family, but we may have to reschedule due to a family emergency. Has anyone done this? How easy is it to change the date? Can I just call them directly? Appreciate any tips!
