Q&A

Q: What’s the age limit for kids on this tour? I want to take my whole family!

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s really suited for kids ages 5 and up since they'll enjoy the sights and stories. Just a heads up, if they're under 5, they may need a car seat. Vantigo can help with that if you give them a call beforehand!

Q: How's the parking situation near the pickup point? I’m driving in from outside the city.

A: Parking can be tricky in San Francisco, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. It’s best to check with Vantigo about specific pickup locations—they’ll usually recommend places nearby with parking. Or you could consider taking public transit if that’s an option!

Q: Can we bring our own drinks on the tour? I have some special dietary needs.

A: Yes, you can bring your own drinks! Just let your guide know in advance so they can help store them during the tour. They do provide snacks and drinks, but if you have specific dietary needs, it’s best to have your own options ready.

Just did the Vantigo VW Bus tour and it was AMAZING!

We took the Vantigo tour last weekend and I'm still buzzing from it! Our guide, Mike, was super knowledgeable and made the history of SF really engaging. We got to see the Golden Gate Bridge up close and even stopped for some great views of Alcatraz. The snacks were a nice touch and the wine was perfect for the scenic drive. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique way to explore the city!

Considering Vantigo as a gift—any tips?

I’m looking at getting a Vantigo tour for my dad’s birthday. He loves history and vintage cars, so I think he’d really enjoy this! Just want to know if it’s worth the price and how flexible they are with scheduling.
