Q&A
A: Yes, you can reschedule your Verde Canyon Rail Day Adventure. Just give Wandering Heart Adventures a call at least 48 hours in advance. They’re really flexible and want to help you find a time that works. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy on their website for any specific details.
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids must be at least 2 years old to have their own seat on the train. Infants can sit on a parent's lap. It’s a great educational experience for kids, especially at the monuments! Just make sure they can handle the 3.5-hour train ride.
A: Dress in layers! It can get warm during the day but cooler in the canyon. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking around at the monuments. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat if it's sunny; you'll be outside a lot!

Thinking about gifting the Verde Canyon Rail Adventure - worth it?
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the Verde Canyon Rail Day Adventure for my parents. They love history and scenic views, and this trip has both! It includes the two Native American monuments and a ride through the Verde Canyon. I read that it’s a first-class experience on the train, which sounds amazing. Has anyone done this before? Is it truly as good as it sounds?
Just got back from Verde Canyon Rail Adventure - WOW!
Just wanted to share my experience with the Verde Canyon Rail Day Adventure! We visited Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot, which were super cool. The train ride was absolutely the highlight though. First-class was worth it! They served us lunch and the views from the canyon were unreal. I highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves nature or history!
