Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for kids on the helicopter ride?

A: Yes, there are age restrictions. Kids must be at least 2 years old to fly due to safety regulations. But note that any child under 2 can fly for free if they're seated on a parent's lap. Just make sure they’re ready for the cold weather once you hit the slopes!

Q: What's the parking situation like in Manhattan for the helicopter ride?

A: There's a drop-off area at the helicopter terminal, but parking is tricky. There are some paid lots nearby, but they can get filled up quickly especially on weekends. I highly recommend taking a taxi or rideshare instead to avoid the hassle!

Q: If the weather's bad, do we get rescheduled or refunded?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they typically offer to reschedule your flight for another day. Refunds are less common since the helicopters can fly unless conditions are really bad. Always check the weather beforehand and trust your gut about planning!

Thinking about gifting the Vermont Ski Day Trip by Helicopter!

I'm really considering getting this experience for my boyfriend's birthday. The idea of flying out in the morning and hitting the slopes at Stratton sounds amazing! Does anyone have tips on what to wear or how to get lift tickets in advance? And how's the skiing for beginners?

Did anyone try the helicopter skiing trip yet?

I finally did the helicopter ski trip to Stratton and it was unbelievable! The views were stunning and we had such an amazing time on the slopes. Just a heads up, book your lift tickets early and check your gear before you go. Can't wait to go again!
